My son, if you accept my words and store up my commands within you, turning your ear to wisdom and applying your heart to understanding — indeed, if you call out for insight and cry aloud for understanding, and if you look for it as for silver and search for it as for hidden treasure, then you will understand the fear of the Lord and find the knowledge of God. In the entrance hall of the Power’s house there’s a small wooden chest filled with cards that have short bible verses written on them. At any moment of the day you just need to open the box and reach in to find the Word of God. Then you can hide it in your school bag, your purse, your jacket pocket or stick it up on the door of your refridgerator. You can recite it as you play or teach it to small kids using gestures and mime.
So many Families of Cana are creating Treasure Chests in their homes. And the biblical cards pop up in all sorts of unusual places…
So that all homes can have a treasure like that, we’ve made the cards available here with a large variety of biblical verses, carefully designed and ready to print at home. May the Word of God be a light for our journeys, like the psalm says:
